Who we are

This website, https://ballroomandbeyond.net/, is run by Ballroom & Beyond (“we”, “us”), a dance studio in Cherry Creek North, Denver. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and by phone, how we use it, who helps us handle it, and the choices you have.

What we collect and how

Information you give us. When you use our contact form, we collect your first and last name, email address, phone number and your message. When you call, text or email us, we receive your phone number or email address and whatever you choose to tell us.

Booking. Our class schedule and online booking run on Momence. When you book a lesson or class, you enter your details on Momence, which handles the booking and any payment under its own privacy policy, and shares your booking with us.

Information collected automatically. When you visit, this site and the tools listed below use cookies, small scripts and similar technologies to collect:

your IP address, browser and device type, and approximate location (city or region)
the pages you view, how long you stay, and the page or search that brought you here
whether you arrived by clicking one of our ads, including the ad click identifier Google adds to the link
actions such as sending the contact form or tapping our phone number

When you send the contact form, it also includes the page you first landed on, the page that referred you, the ad click identifier and campaign tags from the link you followed, so we know which ad or search led to your message.

Service providers that receive information

We share personal information only with companies that help us run this website, our advertising and our business. They receive what they need to do that job.

Google Tag Manager (Google): loads the measurement tools on this site.
Google Analytics (Google): shows us how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed and how people arrived.
Google Ads (Google): tells us which of our ads lead to calls, messages and bookings, so we can spend our advertising budget well. Google receives information about your visit and the ad you clicked.
CallRail: call tracking. See the next section.
Momence: our class schedule, booking and payments.
Google Maps (Google): shows the map to our studio on the contact page.
Our website and marketing agency: hosts and manages this website and our advertising, and can see contact form messages and call records to measure results.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with other companies for their own marketing.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or safety, or as part of selling or reorganizing our business.

Call tracking

We use call tracking to learn which ads lead to calls. This site uses CallRail for this: the phone number you see may be a tracking number that forwards to our studio line, and CallRail records the number you call from, the date, time and length of the call, and the pages and ad that led you to call. If a call is recorded, you will hear a notice at the start of the call.

Your choices

Personalized ads. Adjust or turn off personalized ads from Google at https://myadcenter.google.com/. You can also opt out of interest-based ads from many companies at https://optout.aboutads.info/ and https://thenai.org/how-to-opt-out/. You will still see ads; they just will not be based on your browsing.
Google Analytics. Install Google’s opt-out browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
Cookies. Your browser lets you block or delete cookies. The site will still work, but we may not be able to tell which ad brought you here.
Browser privacy signals. This site does not currently change how it works when your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal (learn about Global Privacy Control at https://globalprivacycontrol.org/). If a law that applies to us requires it, we will treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of targeted advertising for that browser.
Your information. To ask what information we have about you, or to ask us to correct or delete it, email contact@ballroomandbeyond.net or call (720) 572-4952. We may need to confirm who you are first.

California residents

California law (the California Online Privacy Protection Act) asks us to tell you the following:

What we collect and who receives it: described in “What we collect and how” and “Service providers that receive information” above.
Do Not Track: this site does not respond to Do Not Track signals.
Tracking across sites: Google and CallRail may collect information about your online activity over time and across different websites when you use this site. The “Your choices” section explains how to limit this.
Reviewing or changing your information: email contact@ballroomandbeyond.net and we will review, correct or delete the information you gave us.
Changes: we will post any change to this policy on this page with a new effective date.

We do not share personal information with other companies for their own direct marketing purposes.

Children

This website is meant for adults, including parents and guardians who contact us or book on behalf of a young dancer. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

How long we keep information

We keep contact messages, student and booking records, and call records as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law. When we no longer need information, we delete it.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information, and our service providers do the same. No website, email or phone system is completely secure, so please do not send card numbers or government ID numbers through our contact form or email.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our website, tools or practices change. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
